Probably one of things that people don't realize is more and more golf manufacturers are entering the golf equipment market. Some of these golf manufacturers are small in scale, but that doesn't mean they won't be major players after a few years. Most of these golf manufacturers have an idea on how to improve golf clubs or a part of the game and they want to try and influence how the game of golf is shaped.

Golf club manufacturers actually like these part-time golf manufacturers that join the fray of the golf equipment world. People can never have enough ideas and these small outfits actually sometimes come up with some great ideas. The bad part is many times the top golf manufacturers will borrow these new ideas and adapt them for what they are doing. This helps their companies and not the struggling one man operations. Every now and than those these small startups do hit it big. One of the biggest area's that you have seen alot of change is the golf glove manufacturers. Golf gloves have become a very big business and for the most part it's a part of the golf equipment business that cost less to start than the other ones.

Golf manufacturers have changed alot the last few years as they try to out do each other. New products are always introduced and the golf manufacturer that gets the upper hand first will be the one that survives the ups and downs in the industry. In the last few years some companies have been bought up by bigger companies thus making this a even harder market to break into. Golf manufacturers trying to find the next big thing so they can be the one to step to the forefront. This is becoming increasing hard as many more companies are trying the same thing.

It's gotten to the point of saturation and finding new cutting edge products are alot harder. Now their are new products being introduced, but nothing that will shaken the golf world. It's not like it use to be where you could introduce a new product and everyone would go out and buy it. With so many similar products being released it's tough to choose between products that are very close in design. I think that is probably the way were headed for awhile.
